Early-stage companies submit their innovative idea to the Insight Innovation Competition website.
The insights industry votes on the ideas that have merit. Submissions are open until October 18 and voting is open until November 1 at 5pm GMT+7.
Once voting closes, the three finalists with the most votes and a “wildcard” selected by GreenBook will move on to pitch at the formal judging session taking place during the IIeX conference.
Finalists will give a five-minute pitch to a panel of judges during IIeX Asia Pacific 2019 that is open to all event attendees.
The winner will be announced at the close of the conference, and receive an investment of $3,500 USD, mentoring, and exposure to potential funding partners.
Please be aware that IIeX does not compensate finalists for travel to the event or accommodations.
JUDGING & WINNING PRIZE
On December 4, 2019, as part of IIeX Asia Pacific 2019, the finalists will present their concepts to a panel of judges comprised of sponsors of the competition in a live event. Each presentation will last 10 minutes: 5 minutes to pitch and 5 minutes for Q&A from the judges.

At the end of the conference, we’ll announce the scores. The highest score is the winner, and will be taking home:

Exposure to large international audience of potential prospects, funding partners, independent venture capitalist and angel investors
An invitation to present at the following IIeX conference
An interview to be posted on the GreenBook Blog, viewed by 36,000+ industry professionals per month

RULES FOR SUBMISSIONS
The company presenting the idea must be in business and the concept must be within the public domain already. You must be able to share your idea publicly. GreenBook is not responsible for IP protection.
The company must be early stage with majority privately held and did not exceed $5M in total annual revenue the previous year. Angel seed funding is OK, but if you’ve taken outside investment money and do not have a majority stake left, this isn’t for you.
The company can reside anywhere in the world, but it is the entrant's responsibility to ensure that the legal and tax requirements of their home country are met.
It is the entrant's responsibility to travel to the Insight Innovation Exchange event. A virtual presentation is not allowed.
If the entrant is found engaging in vote buying or automatic/programmatic voting they will be subject to automatic disqualification.
The Insight Innovation Competition judging committee reserves the right to disqualify competition applicants if the above requirements are not met.
